The film follows Kasper Berntsen, a successful stand-up comedian whose life suddenly collapses. In a very short period of time, he loses his job, his girlfriend, and—most frighteningly—he receives a serious cancer diagnosis. With everything stripped away, Kasper is forced to confront who he is without his career or his comedy persona.
